1. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. JTA Distributors Ltd complies with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998 when dealing with all data received from visitors to the site.
2. We only hold the data necessary to offer the services/products provided on our website and to allow us to process orders and payments and arrange shipping. We do not take or hold details of your credit/debit cards as these are separately taken and held securely by Google Checkout, PayPal and Cardsave during the payment process and are not revealed to us.
3. We only hold personal data for as long as necessary. Once data is no longer needed it is deleted from our files.
4. We occasionally email website news and information updates to those customers who have specifically subscribed to our email/newsletter service. All subscription emails sent by us contain clear information on how to unsubscribe from our email service.
5. We never sell, rent or exchange mailing lists.
6. Please note that we only share data with the partners required to offer our services/products, i.e Google Checkout, PayPal and Cardsave for secure payment processing and our contracted shipping company (normally DPD or DHL). We only share data with partners who operate their own privacy policy.
7. In accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, we never send bulk unsolicited emails (popularly known as Spam) to email addresses.
8. We may send occasional emails/newsletters to existing customers or prospective customers who have enquired or registered with us, regarding products or services directly provided by us.
9. All emails sent by us will be clearly marked as originating from us. All such emails will also include clear instructions on how unsubscribe from our email service and any future emails. Such instructions will either include a link to a page to unsubscribe or a valid email address to which you should reply, with “unsubscribe” as the email subject heading.
10. Our website uses "cookies" to track use and allow customers to purchase from our website. Please note that these cookies do not contain or pass any personal, confidential or financial information or any other information that could be used to identify individual visitors or customers purchasing from our website. Please note that you are free to refuse cookies. However, for purely technical reasons this may prevent you from purchasing from our website. This is because anonymous cookies are commonly used to keep track of the contents of customers’ shopping baskets during the checkout process. This facility ensures that the items added to (or removed from) your basket are accurately stated when you go to pay. 11. Financial transactions are completed via Google Checkout, PayPal or Cardsave using secure encrypted connections. All credit/debit card information is securely processed by Google Checkout, PayPal or Cardsave and your card numbers are never revealed to us or stored on our web site.
12. This Web site uses etracker technology (www.etracker.com) to collect visitor behaviour data. This data is collected anonymously to be used for marketing and web site optimisation purposes. All visitor data is saved using an anonymous user ID to aggregate a usage profile. Cookies may be used to collect and save this data, but the data remains strictly anonymous. The data will NOT be used to identify a visitor personally and are not aggregated with any personal data. The collection and storage of data may be refused at any time with respect to subsequent services.

* When transferring to Google Checkout, PayPal or Cardsave the total amount payable may vary from the basket amount by +/- 1p, this is due to individual calculation of the rounding of the VAT element on the items and any delivery charges where applicable.

1. Our websites and how to use them.
JTA Distributors Ltd are the official distributor for Unisa shoes and bags in the UK and have been supplying UK retailers for many years.
Our websites are easy to use and utilise. Simply browse the website to see the various products on offer.
Please ALWAYS wait for the page to refresh or the progress bar on the screen to finish updating before clicking on the next button/option. This is especially important when adding items to your shopping basket or progressing to the Checkout.
The current availability of each product and size variation will be shown on the product detail page. We always endeavour to keep our stock listing up to date but occasionally during pre-delivery inspection we may discover missing or damaged goods. If this is the case and we are unable to fulfil your order we will inform you of this and cancel your order, any payment already taken will be refunded (normally we will not actually charge your card until we have checked the shoes and packed them for despatch).
Once you have finished adding products to your basket click the Display Basket option to finalise the basket contents and proceed to Google Checkout, PayPal or SagePay to pay for the goods.
If you choose to Display the Basket you have the option to add, amend, change the quantities or delete items before proceeding to Checkout.
Once you have successfully paid via Google Checkout, PayPal or SagePay you will be returned to our web site. You will also receive emails to confirm your order and update you on the status. You can now either leave our website or repeat the above process to buy more goods or just continue to browse.
2. Payment.
If you do not already have a Google Checkout or PayPal account you can simply sign up for one (free) as part of the Checkout procedure or pay via SagePay. Google Checkout and PayPal operate a secure online payment system which means we never need to see or hold your payment debit/credit card details. Once you have a Google Checkout or PayPal account it can be used at other on-line stores which accept these to speed up Checkout procedures as you only need to enter all your personal details once when first signing up.
3. Shipping/Delivery Charges/Expected Delivery Time Scales
We can ONLY ship products for free to mainland UK addresses (Excluding Northern Ireland). Regrettably due to courier charges, import duties, etc, we are unable to offer free delivery to non UK addresses or to The Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands, Scottish Islands, Eire, etc. Please contact us on 01953 852929 for prices for delivery to these locations.
We now include free delivery to mainland UK addresses regardless of order size.
All orders received by us are shipped subject to availability.
We normally expect to despatch your goods within 1 working day of receipt of your order AND confirmation from Google Checkout, PayPal or SagePay that payment has been successfully processed. Delivery normally takes 1 working day from despatch using the DPD Next Working Day service.

5. Customer Enquiries or Complaints
Your satisfaction is our prime concern. Should you have an enquiry or a complaint regarding our products or services please contact us and we will do our best to address your issues. We endeavour to respond to all customer complaints or queries within five working days.
6. Faulty Products
Where a Customer experiences a fault with a product it can be returned to JTA Distributors Ltd, subject to our returns policy as shown on our "Terms & Conditions" page.
